Next-generation botanical, biological and mixed-type biopesticides for Russian and international agriculture
LLC Scientific-Research Industrial-Integration Company "ORGANIC PESTICIDES" is a team of dedicated professionals specializing in research and development of safe and natural botanical, biological and mixed-type plant protection products — world-class biopesticides in terms of technical characteristics, efficacy and development potential. Our mission is to create and implement environmentally safe, biologically effective and economically feasible ready-to-use solutions for agriculture and contaminated human and animal habitats across the full spectrum of threats: from prevention to critical situations involving harmful organisms in infected spaces.
The company brings together leading specialists in natural products chemistry, biotechnology, toxicology, physics, mathematics, entomology, phytopathology, design and technology to develop next-generation biopesticide formulations that respond to current and emerging challenges and threats.
Our key rule is an integrated approach to biopesticide formulation development based exclusively on criteria of scientific truth.
Active ingredients: extracts, vegetable and essential oils, as well as dry forms — from pyrethrins to exotic and rare active substances with technical purity up to 99.99%; development takes into account UV protection, antioxidant stabilization and microbiological contamination control.
Active ingredients: avermectins, milbemycins and spinosyns — biologically active fermentation metabolites of bacterial origin used for effective control of a broad spectrum of insect pests and mites. Their action is associated with disruption of nerve impulse transmission in sensitive organisms, leading to loss of mobility, cessation of feeding, paralysis and subsequent death.
Botanical, biological and mixed-type formulations; microencapsulation of almost any active ingredients in nature-like materials; use of non-toxic so-called “green-type” components, including food-grade ingredients.
HPLC, GC, HPLC-MS, GC-MS, quality control, standardization, identification, quantitative determination, impurity profiling, certification of active ingredients and finished products.
We conduct trials with leading research institutes and accredited state and commercial testing sites for experiments of any complexity.
Turnkey pesticide registration, including biological efficacy trials, toxicological and hygienic indicators, environmental safety, preparation of all documents and support for all actions required to obtain state registration in the Register of Pesticides and Agrochemicals.
One of Russia’s largest libraries of naturally derived active ingredients for biopesticide development. Every substance undergoes multi-stage efficacy and safety analysis.
interconnected scientific, computational, calculation, predictive, analytical, control-methodological, technological and testing models, parameters, criteria and procedures, including 3D and AI modeling and a complex of multi-level physicochemical, biological, technological, toxicological-hygienic, environmental, production and regulatory assessments to scientifically design, predict, test, optimize, validate and confirm the quality, efficacy, stability, safety and industrial reproducibility of biopesticide formulations.
This is achieved through multifactorial and multidirectional modes of action that simultaneously affect several biological targets and interconnected physiological and biochemical processes in the harmful organism, minimizing the probability of resistance development and avoiding phytotoxicity when application regulations are followed.
In addition to using the natural physicochemical properties of active ingredients, we increase efficacy and prolong protective action through UV protection, antioxidant stabilization and antimicrobial protection, as well as microencapsulation of active ingredients with controlled release under specified conditions.
Based on biological efficacy trials, our developments are highly evaluated by leading agronomists. Practical field-level assessment confirms the strong implementation and scaling potential of our solutions.
We develop and industrially implement the following types of biopesticides: insecticides, acaricides, insectoacaricides, fungicides, bactericides, fungibactericides, virucides, nematicides, molluscicides, biostimulants and growth regulators, and adjuvants for biopesticides.
Our formulations are biologically highly effective in protected and open-field cultivation.
Tomato, cucumber, sweet pepper, hot pepper, eggplant, lettuce, cabbage, onion, carrot, beetroot, spinach, dill, Chinese cabbage, radish, parsley, strawberry, watermelon, melon, zucchini, pumpkin, garlic, potato, apple, grape, plum, pear, pea, bean, raspberry, currant, gooseberry, blueberry, honeysuckle, blackberry, cherry, sweet cherry, apricot, peach, corn and sunflower.
According to the international classification: liquid/dispersed forms: SL, SC, SE, EC, EW, EO, ME, NE, OD, DC, CS, ZC, ZE, ZW; ULV/Fogging: UL, SU, HN, KN; oil-miscible: OF, OL.
Technological capability to develop and produce biopesticides containing from 1 to 10 active ingredients to cover a broad spectrum of customer-defined tasks.
If a customer uses biological control in protected cultivation, we are ready to develop selective formulations that are biologically effective against specific harmful organisms while not affecting pollinators and entomophages.
* protective action up to 30-35 days when using a modern formulation type: microencapsulated suspension;
** average protective action from 7 to 15 days when working with outbreaks of harmful organism populations, i.e. non-preventive treatment;
*** optimal protective action from 14 to 21 days or more when integrated into a year-round protection program with preventive treatments.
Greenhouses of any generation and technical configuration.
Vegetable, fruit and berry crops.
A growing segment at 15-20% per year.
A simple and transparent process from request and contract to bringing finished biopesticides to market.
Formation of a request; definition of target crops, harmful organisms, protective action period and other technical parameters and application regulations for the future development. Preparation of the technical assignment and phased development plan. Contract conclusion, including timelines and cost of research and development work.
Selection of active ingredients and components meeting the customer’s economic, biological, toxicological, environmental and other requirements. Development of a chemically stable formulation. Laboratory and field biological trials to confirm a scientifically substantiated application regulation. Formulation optimization at the customer’s request. Production technology scale-up from laboratory sample to industrial batches. The overall period for development and preparation of final documentation for a biopesticide formulation against insect pests and mites, depending on the season when work begins, is 3 to 12 months. For formulations against plant diseases in protected and open-field cultivation, as well as against open-field insect pests and mites, the development period may be extended to 18-24 months considering field and registration trials and may be combined with the period of state biological efficacy trials.
Provision to the customer of a scientific and technological documentation package: Technical Specifications containing the biopesticide formulation, Technological Instruction for laboratory and industrial production, and Biopesticide Information for state registration in the established procedure. Optional registration support from application preparation to obtaining pesticide state registration in accordance with Federal Law No. 109-FZ of 19.07.1997 “On Safe Handling of Pesticides and Agrochemicals”. Assistance in organizing laboratory and industrial production. Assistance in bringing the biopesticide to market and marketing support.
Biopesticides based on formulations developed by us, including insecticides, acaricides and insectoacaricides, are professional products for treating contaminated spaces against insect pests and mites. They are suitable as disinsection products for livestock facilities such as poultry farms, pig farms, cattle barns, horse-breeding facilities and other specialized animal-breeding sites, as well as for open and enclosed human habitats.
If you are interested and have technical requirements, including the type of contaminated space: production facility, warehouse, adjacent territory, park, forest belt, open or enclosed public place, open storage area, types of insect pests and/or mites, as well as possible economic requirements, please send us a request by email at info@organic-pesticides.ru.
