Key Areas of Research and Development

Our key rule is an integrated approach to biopesticide formulation development based exclusively on criteria of scientific truth.

Botanical Pesticides

Active ingredients: extracts, vegetable and essential oils, as well as dry forms — from pyrethrins to exotic and rare active substances with technical purity up to 99.99%; development takes into account UV protection, antioxidant stabilization and microbiological contamination control.

Biological Pesticides

Active ingredients: avermectins, milbemycins and spinosyns — biologically active fermentation metabolites of bacterial origin used for effective control of a broad spectrum of insect pests and mites. Their action is associated with disruption of nerve impulse transmission in sensitive organisms, leading to loss of mobility, cessation of feeding, paralysis and subsequent death.

Technological Capabilities

Botanical, biological and mixed-type formulations; microencapsulation of almost any active ingredients in nature-like materials; use of non-toxic so-called “green-type” components, including food-grade ingredients.

Analytical Control

HPLC, GC, HPLC-MS, GC-MS, quality control, standardization, identification, quantitative determination, impurity profiling, certification of active ingredients and finished products.

Biological Efficacy Testing

We conduct trials with leading research institutes and accredited state and commercial testing sites for experiments of any complexity.

Registration Support

Turnkey pesticide registration, including biological efficacy trials, toxicological and hygienic indicators, environmental safety, preparation of all documents and support for all actions required to obtain state registration in the Register of Pesticides and Agrochemicals.

Our Technological Advantages

520+

interconnected scientific, computational, calculation, predictive, analytical, control-methodological, technological and testing models, parameters, criteria and procedures, including 3D and AI modeling and a complex of multi-level physicochemical, biological, technological, toxicological-hygienic, environmental, production and regulatory assessments to scientifically design, predict, test, optimize, validate and confirm the quality, efficacy, stability, safety and industrial reproducibility of biopesticide formulations.

Non-Phytotoxic and Resistance-Safe Formulations

This is achieved through multifactorial and multidirectional modes of action that simultaneously affect several biological targets and interconnected physiological and biochemical processes in the harmful organism, minimizing the probability of resistance development and avoiding phytotoxicity when application regulations are followed.

Protective Action Period from 5-10 to 30 Days

In addition to using the natural physicochemical properties of active ingredients, we increase efficacy and prolong protective action through UV protection, antioxidant stabilization and antimicrobial protection, as well as microencapsulation of active ingredients with controlled release under specified conditions.

Highly Rated by Industry Professionals

Based on biological efficacy trials, our developments are highly evaluated by leading agronomists. Practical field-level assessment confirms the strong implementation and scaling potential of our solutions.

Types of Biopesticides

We develop and industrially implement the following types of biopesticides: insecticides, acaricides, insectoacaricides, fungicides, bactericides, fungibactericides, virucides, nematicides, molluscicides, biostimulants and growth regulators, and adjuvants for biopesticides.

Growing Systems

Our formulations are biologically highly effective in protected and open-field cultivation.

Formulation Types

According to the international classification: liquid/dispersed forms: SL, SC, SE, EC, EW, EO, ME, NE, OD, DC, CS, ZC, ZE, ZW; ULV/Fogging: UL, SU, HN, KN; oil-miscible: OF, OL.

Multi-Component Active Ingredient Composition

Technological capability to develop and produce biopesticides containing from 1 to 10 active ingredients to cover a broad spectrum of customer-defined tasks.

Care for Biological Control Systems

If a customer uses biological control in protected cultivation, we are ready to develop selective formulations that are biologically effective against specific harmful organisms while not affecting pollinators and entomophages.

Technical Characteristics of Biopesticides

Key parameters:

  • Save plant protection budget by 10-50% for protected vegetables, 30-60% for roses, flowers and ornamental crops, 10-50% for protected berries, and 10-50% for fruit and berry orchards without loss of product quality or yield;
  • Protective action against pests for up to 30 days*, **, ***;
  • Do not cause habituation or resistance;
  • Do not damage treated plants and are non-phytotoxic;
  • Suitable for treatment during fruiting;
  • Suitable for preventive treatments;
  • Do not accumulate in plants or fruits;
  • High environmental safety for the surrounding environment;
  • Harvesting can be possible as soon as 3 hours after treatment;
  • Compatible with other pesticides;
  • Can be used continuously without switching to another pesticide;
  • Help bring agricultural products closer to a genuine organic standard.

* protective action up to 30-35 days when using a modern formulation type: microencapsulated suspension;

** average protective action from 7 to 15 days when working with outbreaks of harmful organism populations, i.e. non-preventive treatment;

*** optimal protective action from 14 to 21 days or more when integrated into a year-round protection program with preventive treatments.

Target Market Segments

Greenhouse Complexes and Semi-Professional Greenhouses

Greenhouses of any generation and technical configuration.

Open Field

Cooperation Stages

A simple and transparent process from request and contract to bringing finished biopesticides to market.

1

Negotiations. Request. Contract

Formation of a request; definition of target crops, harmful organisms, protective action period and other technical parameters and application regulations for the future development. Preparation of the technical assignment and phased development plan. Contract conclusion, including timelines and cost of research and development work.

2

Development Period

Selection of active ingredients and components meeting the customer’s economic, biological, toxicological, environmental and other requirements. Development of a chemically stable formulation. Laboratory and field biological trials to confirm a scientifically substantiated application regulation. Formulation optimization at the customer’s request. Production technology scale-up from laboratory sample to industrial batches. The overall period for development and preparation of final documentation for a biopesticide formulation against insect pests and mites, depending on the season when work begins, is 3 to 12 months. For formulations against plant diseases in protected and open-field cultivation, as well as against open-field insect pests and mites, the development period may be extended to 18-24 months considering field and registration trials and may be combined with the period of state biological efficacy trials.

3

Commercialization
